Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst/ Clinical Director
Kristin is the Founder, Owner, and Clinical Director of Axis. Kristin is also the head of the Ethics Committee at Axis. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and a Licensed Behavior Analyst under the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand View University, and her Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Kristin has spent most of her career focusing on the early detection and intervention of autism spectrum disorder and specializing in early intervention. She is an active member of the Iowa Association for Behavior Analysis and participant with the Autism Society of Iowa and Autism Speaks Iowa. Kristin founded Axis on her passion for serving children and families living with autism and special needs. Kristin lives in Maxwell with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys playing softball, volleyball, kickboxing, attending movies and concerts, traveling, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, Auburn Tigers, Chicago Cubs, and Atlanta Braves.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst
Kallie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and a Licensed Behavior Analyst under the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science. Kallie is the Site Supervisor of our Ankeny location, and is a part of Axis' Ethics Committee. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University, majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology, and received her Master of Education degree in the Foundations of Behavior Analysis through the University of Cincinnati. Kallie has experience working with challenging behaviors in a residential setting with youth ages 0 to 17, and also experience working with students in the Intensive Behavior Support classroom in a school setting. Through the many kids she has gotten the privilege of knowing over the years, Kallie has found her passion for working with children with different needs, and helping them become successful at home, school, and in the community. In her free time, Kallie enjoys biking, running, trying new restaurants, and traveling.

Breanna McClintock - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Whitney is an Occupational Therapist certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and licensed in the state of Iowa. Whitney graduated with her Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from Drake University. She has always had a strong passion for helping others and has decided to specialize in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. She graduated from Truman State University with her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Minor in Disability Studies. Whitney has always been interested in working with children with disabilities, especially after growing up with an older brother and younger sister who are both on the Autism Spectrum. Whitney also gained a passion for working with individuals with disabilities through volunteer coaching for the Arc of Story County. Whitney has Certifications in SOS Feeding Therapy and MNRI Reflex Integration. Whitney lives in Maxwell with her husband, two dogs named Mackey (Go Purdue) and Rizzo (Go Cubs), and a cat named Cali. She loves to play slow pitch softball, playing with animals, going hiking, country music, and baseball season. Whitney hopes that she can help the children and families we serve get the most out of every single day and that she can advocate for and support our clients to reach their goals and become as independent as possible.
Bre is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, and is certified in SOS Feeding Therapy. She attended the Occupational Therapy Assisting program at Neosho County Community College in Ottawa, KS. Bre first became interested in Occupational Therapy and working with children with special needs while volunteering for a therapeutic horse ranch in high school. One of Bre’s clinical rotations was in a school district where she learned how to provide therapy for students both in the classroom with their peers, and in one-on-one therapy sessions. After she graduated from OTA school, she spent time as a Paraeducator for the school district working with students who had a variety of diagnoses and needs. She really learned a lot about how to structure her students’ day based on their strengths so they could maintain independence, as well as interacting with same age peers. Bre has a certification in Astronaut Training!
Dree Ellingworth, M.A., CCC-SLP – Speech Language Pathologist
Dree received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Northern Iowa. Dree personally experienced the positive influence this field had on her life after she received services as a child for stuttering. Coming from a large family, she has always loved working with children. Dree has 3 years of post-graduate experience working with children and adults. As a student at the University of Northern Iowa, Dree spent time volunteering, attending conferences, and was part of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association. In her free time, Dree enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as reading, fishing, being active, cooking, and visiting local coffee shops. She is thrilled to join the Axis team!

Speech Language Pathologist
Casey is a Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed by the state of Iowa. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Iowa. From her time as a student clinician until now, Casey has had experience working with a wide range of clients, including children of all ages in both educational and clinical settings. However, her passion for serving children with autism and their families was what made her most excited to accept a position as an SLP with Axis. Outside of work, Casey loves spending as much time as possible with her husband, family, and friends. She enjoys exercising, singing, watching movies, eating good food, and participating in her church.
Tatiana LeClair - Registered Behavior Technician / Certified Professional Crisis Management Instructor
Tatiana is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She is also a certified instructor for the Professional Crisis Management Association. She has her Associate of Arts Degree from Des Moines Area Community College, and looks forward to continuing her education in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Tatiana has always been very passionate about working with children. She enjoys watching her Los Angeles Dodgers and Las Vegas Raiders, and once in a while, to keep her husband happy, the Red Sox and Patriots. She also loves spending time with her husband and baby boy. She has a love for the outdoors and likes to play disc golf and various sports. She also coaches youth soccer. She has a passion for art and loves to paint. Tatiana looks forward to making a difference and creating a positive change for children and families.
Brittany Yoakum - Registered Behavior Technician
Brittany is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Brittany received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology through Purdue University Global, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Brittany has experience working with children ages 0-17 in the field of mental health and at-risk youth as well as children on the autism spectrum. She also has experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities in a day program setting. Brittany lives in Ankeny with her fiance Jason and their 7 children. In her free time, Brittany enjoys watching her children play sports and dance. She also enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, photography, and anything crafty. Brittany has a passion for working with children and loves seeing them learn and grow. She is excited to be part of the Axis team and make a difference in other’s lives.
Ericca VanWyk - Registered Behavior Technician
Ericca is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Ericca is currently enrolled at Des Moines Area Community College. Ericca has six years of experience working with kids ages 1 to 11 in the daycare and school setting, In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter (Jasmin), watching movies, taking her parents' dog (Lucy) to the dog park, shopping, traveling, and spending time outside.
Courtney Schilling, M.A., BCBA - Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Courtney is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Grand View University, and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis through Arizona State University. Courtney has always known that she had a passion for making an impact on the lives of children and loves getting to make a child smile all while knowing she is making a difference. During her free time, Courtney enjoys watching movies, cuddling up in blankets (since she’s always cold), browsing Pinterest, listening to country music, being outdoors, sketching and painting, and photography.
Genna Bertram - Registered Behavior Technician
Genna is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She loves working with kids and has a passion for helping them in all ways possible to enjoy their everyday lives. She loves that she gets to start her day off the right way at Axis by working with the kids! In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She loves to go shopping and is a lover of true crime.
Mackenzie Thompson -
Registered Behavior Technician
Mackenzie is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She is currently attending Iowa State University, majoring in Kinesiology with an option in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Psychology. Mackenzie has always had a passion for helping children. Before coming to Axis, she was a camp counselor and enjoyed being a positive role model for the kids. She loves spending time with the kiddos and watching them grow! In her free time, she is involved in campus organizations like the Pre-OT Club, College of Human Sciences Council, and many others. She also likes to travel and plans to study abroad in the Spring of 2022. Mackenzie is very excited to begin her journey at Axis and can’t wait to see where these new adventures will take her!
Caitlyn O'Conner -
Registered Behavior Technician
Cait is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She is completing a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy at Iowa State University. Cait has experience with children ages 2 and up. She has previously worked with children and adolescents struggling with mental health, behavioral obstacles, and disabilities. Her goal is to attend graduate school for School Psychology or Special Education. She has always had a passion for working with children and advocating for mental health. In her free time, you can find Cait wandering the aisles of Target, going to coffee shops, or organizing. Cait enjoys playing Animal Crossing, hanging out with her family, and snuggling her kitten, Milo.
Chandler Hohbach - Registered Behavior Technician
Chandler is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She is currently attending Iowa State University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Services on the Pre-Occupational Therapy Track. Chandler has always known she wanted to work with children as she has a passion to watch them grow and succeed in every aspect of their life. In Chandler’s free time, she loves to workout, play golf, spend time with family friends, and spend every chance she can at Lake Okoboji or Lake Panorama.
Brittny Bottorf -
Registered Behavior Technician
Brittny is a Registered Behavior Technician credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She has previously worked as a Behavior Therapist at a center in Texas for a year and a half. Brittny has always wanted to work with children, when she moved to Texas she fell in love with ABA. Brittny plans on going to school to further her career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She has experience working with children between the ages of 18 months to 21 years. She gets the best feeling knowing that she is making a difference in her clients life, the best thing is watching them grow and celebrating their successes. In her free time she enjoys going golfing, shopping and crafting. She enjoys being with family and friends, hanging out with her dog Opie, and taking naps.
Moira Green -
Moira is a recent grad from Iowa State University (Class of ’21) where she studied Kinesiology and was heavily involved in the world of health and fitness. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa but is ready to be a city girl in Des Moines! Moira first heard about ABA from a good friend who recommended it to her knowing she would fall in love with it. Spoiler alert, she did! Since beginning work with children at a daycare at the age of fifteen, Moira’s love for helping and caring children has only grown. However, she owes it all to her little sister who made her an honorary babysitter and caregiver in 2009 when Moira was only 10. She maintains that she wouldn’t be half the person she is today if she wasn’t a big sister to her younger siblings. In addition, Moira is a national leader for CHAARG, a women’s health organization, and enjoys staying active through yoga, running, and cycling in her free time. She is also always reading about five books at one time and constantly has a Taylor Swift song stuck in her head. Ask Moira about her cat, Theo, and she will talk about him for hours. Moira is very happy to be part of the Axis Family and to grow along with the wonderful individuals who come through the doors of Axis!

Kayla came to us with a Customer Service and Insurance background. She has a love for children and helping them build their creative and social skills. She is a mother of 3, with 4 bonus step kids. When the kids don’t have her occupied, she enjoys a nice cup of coffee and country music. Kayla strives from personal development and always has a book to recommend for any struggles or growth goals. Kayla is excited to be a team member at Axis and is looking forward to the company growth and building relationships within the community.
